Translation Classics in Translation
As a complement to the HBT monograph series, the Translation Classics in Translation (TCT) Series offers a broader collection of translation studies materials. The series editors select volumes on the basis of their generally recognized importance to translation studies and with a desire to expand their influence and readership.
The series was inaugurated withTranslation Criticism by Katarina Reiss, translated from the German by (retired ABS scholar) Erroll Rhodes.
This book has become a classic, not only in German-language Translation Studies, and it is wonderful that young scholars now have the opportunity to gain direct access to it instead of learning about it from second-hand references. (Christiane Nord, Target).
