Journal - translation

A newly launched journal, translation, positions the Nida School of Translation Studies as a center of translation studies research and periodical publishing. 

Nida School of Translation Studies (NSTS) announces a peer-reviewed  journal published by Edizioni di Storia e Letteratura in Rome: translation . The journal’s inaugural issue will appear in fall 2011 and arrive  thereafter biennially in January and July.

Editorial Staff: Siri Nergaard (editor-in-chief), James Maxey (managing editor). The editorial board comprises Stefano Arduini, Edwin Gentzler, Robert Hodgson, Babli Moitra Saraf, Paul Soukup, SJ, and Philip Towner.

Members of the advisory board are: Arjun Appadurai, K. Anthony Appiah, Emily Apter, Rosemary Arrojo, Susan Bassnett, Homi Bhabha, Bella Brodzki, Iain Chambers, Martha Cheung, David Damrosch, Theo Hermans, Francis Jones, Suzanne Jill Levine, Vicente Rafael, Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak, Elsa Tamez, Maria Tymoczko, Lawrence Venuti, Lourens J. de Vries, Patricia Willson, and Robert Young.
