Through the History of Bible Translation monograph series, edited volumes of collected essays, and the much-anticipated Dictionary of Bible Translation (DBT forthcoming, 2012), the Nida Institute publishes titles that investigate and summarize the wide-ranging issues that shape contemporary understandings of Bible translation.
The monograph series launched with A History of Bible Translation. Three other monographs will cover Bible translation in Africa and Persia. The DBT fills a lacuna with its encyclopedic presentation of Bible translation in a translation studies perspective.
